What does a private client stylist actually do?
She edits what you already own, sources what's missing, handles tailoring and returns, and builds looks for your real calendar — so getting dressed is decided before you need it. Clients sometimes search for this service as an image consultant, wardrobe consultant, or executive stylist — it's the same work.
Can you help me redo my closet from scratch?
Yes. The Closet Edit is a full working session in your closet: what stays, what goes, what's missing, plus a sourcing plan and tailoring direction. Most clients start there.
Do you work with clients who aren't celebrities?
Most of the private roster are executives, founders, and professionals. Every client gets the same treatment as the ones with publicists.
Which cities do you style in?
New York and Los Angeles in person, and virtually for clients elsewhere. The practice has been bicoastal since 2012.
How much does personal styling cost?
Engagements are quoted by proposal after a consult, since scope varies from a single closet edit to an ongoing retainer. Tell Jessica what you need and she'll price it.
How do we begin?
Send an inquiry with a little about yourself and what's prompting the search. If it's a fit, Jessica reaches out within two business days to set up a consult.
Are you a personal stylist or a celebrity stylist?
Both. Jessica spent twenty years as a celebrity stylist for red carpets, editorials, and campaigns. Today she works as a personal stylist for private clients — executives, founders, and professionals in New York and Los Angeles — bringing the same process to their wardrobes.
Do you travel to clients outside New York and Los Angeles?
Yes. Jessica regularly travels to private clients in Palm Beach, Miami, the Hamptons, Greenwich, Aspen, Charleston, and Dallas, and works virtually everywhere else. Travel engagements are scoped in the proposal.
Do you style men?
Yes. Jessica has styled men throughout her career — including editorial and red carpet work with George Clooney, Max Irons, and Ioan Gruffudd — and works with male executives and founders as private clients. Some clients also engage her as a personal stylist and wardrobe consultant for couples.
